quotes Anyone willing to associate themselves with as large of an ass-rag as MBA (and for as long as this dope "R.C." has), is an enormous twatwaffle and should be relegated to twatwaffle-esqe magazines and media outlets (like MBA). Seriously, PB, harden the fuck up.

quotes Slow your film speed or stop down to lengthen exposure time.

quotes Lost the drainplug on the transfer case on the freeway at around 80mph in a workzone with no place to stop/heavy traffic. Had to ride it out for about 2 miles while I could smell, hear and feel the transfer case literally eating itself. By the time I got to a place where there was some shoulder to pull over it was on fire. Needless to say it's currently on jack stands.

quotes Increased positive camber, infinite springrate and longer roll couple while cornering FTW! But at least it will look cool as it under-steers into the guardrail.

quotes Perhaps I'll put together a tech tards-day about chain cleaning for you morons next week (as chain care is also an extremely tolerance-sensitive maintenance item)--but remember kids, due to the finite tolerances at play within your drivetrain, you must ONLY use the Park Tool CM5 CYCLONE in conjunction with the Park Tool Orange Peel Magic degreaser, followed by the Park Tool Yours+Mine Lubricant! I'll tell you what, bestow upon me the legendary "plus" status and I'll throw together a tech tutorial on re-shimming any shock of your choosing. Probably whatever shock you're currently riding, Brule, as yes--you've obviously eaten more than your fair share of rice. What do you say? You get some more midrange and I get to be the first "plus" member who's not also on the payroll--sounds fair to me.

quotes This guy is f*cking joke. You absolutely do not need the alignment tool to straiten things out. And why the hell would you want a stronger dérailleur hangar? So the frame and dérailleur can take more of the impact. I've worked at DH shop for years and have used the alignment tool maybe two or three times, and only for frames that have a built in hangar. The fastest and easiest way to tell if a hangar is bent is to remove it from the bike and lay it on a flat surface. The drive side of most all hangars is designed to be a completely flat surface, so you will know it's bent right away if its not sitting flat. Now all you have to do is bang it flat with a hammer, or stick it in a vise and squeeze it flat. Literally takes five minutes and doesn't cost you the price of an unnecessary tool.

quotes Unfortunately the best I could probably do would be around $1800. That's pretty much tops for me.

quotes After over a thousand dollars worth of speeding tickets and more time with a suspended license than not, I can assure you that the three or four second rush of going 120 in a 30 is not worth it. I know for me, the adrenaline derived from not knowing if your going to be able to stop in time, or doing 85 on a dirt road is incomparable to almost all else, you need to assess what is worth it and what is not. And at 17 years old, you WILL be tried as an adult--ask me how I know. Regardless, nighttime is the best time to drive fast. Far safer than in the day--less traffic, and you know when there's some coming. Plus, you can shut your headlights off for a few seconds for that added rush.

quotes To whoever posted this, this is a pretty pathetic copy and paste effort to make a point that is baseless in regards to the "study" posted. Sample group size? This study is meaningless without knowing how many people were involved in the study. Simply telling us the percentages of different types of injuries does not prove anything. Without being told otherwise, were left to assume that this study includes every single person who has ever ridden a mountain bike in the past 13 years. 107 sustained injuries out of the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) over that period of time probably equates to a smaller risk percentage regarding back injuries than say, taking a shower.
